Mzazi Willy M. Tuva

Mzazi Willy M. Tuva is one of East Africa's most celebrated media personalities and the Founder and Chairman of Mzazi Foundation. Renowned as the host of Mambo Mseto on Radio Citizen and Mseto East Africa on Citizen TV — two of the region's largest entertainment platforms — Mzazi Willy has leveraged his unparalleled public influence to drive meaningful social change.

Founded in 2020 and registered with Kenya's NGO Coordination Board, the Mzazi Foundation is headquartered in Kilifi South, Kenya. It focuses on improving the welfare of vulnerable children and communities through provision of basic needs — food, shelter, clothing, and education — and supports young people aspiring to build careers in the creative and media industries.

Mzazi Willy's media platforms reach millions of listeners and viewers across Kenya and East Africa weekly, giving the Foundation's causes an extraordinary voice and reach that few civil society organisations can match. His own story — from repeated rejection to becoming a dominant force in East African media — resonates powerfully with young Africans as a testament to resilience and purpose.

At the NGO Summit 2026, Mzazi Willy brings the power of media, storytelling, and mass communication to the NGO space — demonstrating how entertainment and celebrity platforms can amplify social causes, drive public awareness, and mobilise communities behind development goals.
